I appologize for the poor formating of the pictures. We have evening curfew coming up, and I do not have time to get used too the wide page format of this blog.
On the plane from Peoria to Chicago.

Waiting in Chicago. Our pilots for this flight were stuck in Rockford, so after short delay, some backup pilots were found.
From Washington DC, there was a 20 minute delay in getting baggage loaded, but nothing serious.
Elisabeth is having a blast.
Finally in New York (JFK).

Waiting for our shuttle to the hotel in JFK.

We were supposed to fly into Laguardia and take a bus arranged by New York City Ministries to the hotel. However, due to the cancellations on Friday, we were re-booked into JFK. NYCM went out of their way to arrange a shuttle for us through their booking agency, which normally only works for the folks who booked through them.
We took a short walk from the hotel, past the Brooklyn Tabernacle, to a small deli next door to the Tabernacle.

Charly was in heaven.

I (Kevin) ate healthy for once.

...just kidding.
We then took a walk to the Brooklyn Promenade, a waterfront only a 20 minute walk from the hotel, with a wonderful view to Manhattan.

Made it back just in time for our evening worship service and team introductions.

We are once again blessed to be joined by 6 folks with really cool accents. They are from South Carolina. Pictures of them will be posted as soon as I get them.
Tomorrow (Sunday) our day starts with an 8:30 meeting/worship service. Then hitting the streets and other ministry tracks from 9-2. After that, it is the Brooklyn Tabernacle service include a performance by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir! Then Little Italy and other sightseeing in the evening.
